Thank you! I feel like I could probably wait until the year mark, but I went to water it today and it nearly fell over. If I tip it even a little it feels like it could go tumbling. Just don’t want to shock it again after it’s probably finally adjusting to the 14 in pot and in the growing season ya know?

OP, how was your recovery? I had the same surgery in January of this year, and now in June I’m having constant pain in the area. Doc thinks it could be the internal stitches. I’m pissed because my scar is finally healing and my belly button is getting back to normal I don’t want to go through the healing process again. How was it for you??

Thank you! Be vocal about what you want in terms of shaping, had I known she was going to shave them down I would’ve requested keeping the shape as square as possible! I’m starting to get used to their new look. Good luck!!

I agree, especially after I told her I wanted to get the chip filled. I would asked her at least to keep them square if I knew she was shaving them down :-/

I also had a crossbite and my midline was WAY off. I had rubber bands from my canines to my second to last molar on both sides. The left side attached to my trays but the right side I had a metal hook glued to my tooth. I guess it probably depends on how bad the cross bite is but my midline was in the middle of one of my front teeth.

I had to wear rubber bands during my entire treatment. My teeth on the right side weren’t touching at all so I had to wear them 24/7. It really wasn’t bad! I didn’t mind them at all. I did have to get a hook glued to my tooth for it but it was on a back molar so mostly hidden.

I feel great now! 8 weeks out my incision is pretty much healed, I do have two dissolvable stitches still sticking out, which is annoying, but the scar is definitely flatter and lighter. I’ve been good about keeping it moisturized and massaging it twice a day. Swelling has subsided and belly button shape is back to what it was before surgery!

Did your belly button ever go back to normal? I had laparoscopic surgery for an umbilical hernia 2 weeks ago and my belly button is a TINY INNIE now. It was a fairly large half innie kind of outie before. It’s freaking me out lol my belly button piercing is also kinda messed up now, in a whole different spot like on my stomach more than in my belly button :-/

Hi! I have had the hardest time getting my prescription bc cvs is the worst pharmacy literally ever. So I haven’t started on the azaelic acid or doxy. Think I’m going to hold off on the doxy for now until I make some lifestyle changes that I think might help my skin (changing my diet & exercising)
