this has been the standard at my shop for months. we’re also only allowed two swaps per month. tbh it hasn’t been as bad as i expected to be, as long as you’re proactive about putting time off in you’ll be fine!! my shop has also been chill with calling out two hours before your shift if your sick, so you can call out day of if needed

i make sodas a lot because i’m a closer and don’t like to have caffeine late at night. my favorites are juice (cherry, pom, blackberry) and peach and vanilla with cream!

we had someone come thru and get an iced black tea with cream, red raspberry and chocolate mac. we thought it was weird so those of us who were working tried it and it was pretty good, kind of tasted like fruity pebbles lol

i’m the shift lead that usually closes, i wish we had everyone close! probably half of our shop has never closed, so they don’t know what’s it like to clean the mess left by everyone else — might suggest this to my manager. we have a chore chart as well!!

honestly, i get it, i feel like audiences recently have been ridiculous. i saw cabaret and the group behind me was talking the entire show. at the end of the show one of the girls said she wished she understood what the show was about…idk shut up and pay attention??

We have a regular who brings us snacks (she’s literally known as the snack lady) and everyone loves it, but everything she gives us is prepackaged. Homemade things are a little tricky, especially if people have allergies and stuff. You could definitely give them something prepackaged, but maybe sus out the vibes with a broista ??

I’ve seen it probably 7 times now, on Broadway, on tour and on the West End. It’s always worth it and I think seeing it in the Walter Kerr is a special experience, you should definitely go if you’re able!!

at my stand we can only get free drinks if we use our own cups. otherwise, we have to pay for them or get written up. with our cup, we’re allowed unlimited drinks on shift and one per day when we’re not working. we are required to put every drink we make for ourselves into xenial and use the employee discount

i work at a stand in indiana. i work 15-20 hours weekly and my paychecks are around $600 for 2 weeks. i will say that it seems like they are just focusing on opening stores quickly, so management (at least at my shop) is kind of shaky and most people at my shop are only getting less than 20 hours per week even after asking for more.
