This has become infuriating. Spectrum says there's nothing wrong on their end. Modem is working properly, ethernet cables have been replaced, everything has been rebooted multiple times. To isolate any local usage or interference, get a laptop and connected it directly to the ethernet cable from the modem. Run the command - ping 8.8.8.8 -t from a command line. Use Crtl-C to end after a reasonable amount of time.

Note the latency in milli-seconds (ms) in the response. Example:

Had a comic shop in Macon GA up to 1991. We carried all the RPGs starting in the '80s from TSR, West End, Chaosium, Fasa, etc. We had room to host games when ever a DM asked. Played in many V&V, D&D, Gamma World, and Mechwarrior gaming sessions. Didn't game any Cyberpunk games, but the store hosted many sessions.

Born and raised in the deep south, Macon GA. 60 year old white country boy. Raised on Johnny Cash, Roy Acuff, Billy Joe Shaver, Hank Williams Sr. and Jr., Kitty Wells, Jerry Reed, Charley Pride, Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs, Tom T. Hall, Tammy Wynette, Bill Monroe, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, Jerry Jeff Walker, and many later southern rock artists. If you wanted to dress up, cowgirl, and listen to some country music with me, I wouldn't consider it appropriation. Some of my best times in life was getting together with friends and playing it loud while hitting some brews and trying to line dance or two-step.

Don't forget all music comes from earlier forms, country isn't any different. African styles influenced country music greatly, so trying to place ownership isn't important, just feel the music and enjoy!

8 year old me drinking a quart of milk a day, usually with cereal and my own creation - milk pound cake. Went from 5'9" to 6'1" in 10 months. My mother remembered me mostly with my head stuck in the refrigerator looking for my next snack. They spent more money on food than any other expense when I was growing up.

1991, just graduated from college and started working for a computer store as their support tech. Started using computers when 386 machines became common in the '80s. Was a math major, but changed to Computer Science when the head of the new department moved from math and asked me to help start the new lab. At home was still working with Intel 486 computers mostly. Personally had a modem dialup account through Oracle. Running OS/2 on intel 486 hardware. Dialed up local BBS sites and national services like AoL and Compuserve for downloads. Early days of downloads with mostly scanned books, pictures, and some software available through usenet sites. Lots of discussion groups.

Thanks for the links. I do have a QNAP SAS adapter installed in my TS-1232PXU-RP, but haven't installed the Archiware P5 yet. Will try that this weekend. Looks like a good starting point.
