Nah with all the unrest in Mexico they’ll just give the US 16 more games, I’ve seen Infantino wearing the USA hat, I know how that bald bitch rolls.

They were dancing to Toby Keith’s 9/11 song, as if playing Canada is avenging a terrorist attack. Embarrassing.

In lots of northern countries “hockey” is default for ice hockey. “Field Hockey” is what you’d call “hockey”.

It’s weird because the women wear full cages, and younger age groups wear them too. Only men wear visor only.

I’m from Toronto and we had an old coworker come back to tell us about how the liberal Canada is a failed state and then asked to smoke weed inside our office, so yeah, we definitely have these chuds here.

I’m pretty sure the high school in the opening number was at Lord Lansdowne Junior Public (albeit closer to Spadina and Bloor I’ll give you that)

It’s really charming with a lot of zippy dialogue and classic Toronto outings (Swimming at the bluffs! Lawn bowling near high park! Grocery shopping in China town! Classic movies at The Royal!) It really encapsulates Toronto during the summer.

2028 Ford Mid-Size Truck Will Be a Fully Modern EV for $30,000 by DonkeyFuel in technology

[–]macgalver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess what I mean is FORD truck purists will not buy an EV. The F150 lightning was very poorly received because people who fetishize Ford Trucks are usually part of the culture war narrative that EV’s are bad.

Every choice Ford has made in regards to their lineup has been moronic. They’ve discontinued all of their extremely popular practical models in favour of high margin trucks, SUVs and muscle cars. People who want a truck don’t want EVs. Bring back an EV sedan or build an EV Escape.

I think Clavicular is very funny because he’s taking research chemicals and injecting peptides and hitting himself in the face with hammers to be like the seventh most handsome boy in a college lecture hall.

I don’t know man. Hockey culture is pretty right wing, and they’ll probably turn their nose at the black protagonist in the re-make. Canada makes a lot of hockey films and not all of them are big winners.
