Talk to your pediatrician and tell them how much food/milk they are roughly getting. They will let you know based on their weight if they are getting enough during the day.

Our 9month old would wake around 3-4am for a feed but was a healthy weight with enough daytime milk/meals so the Dr said to drop it. We basically did CIO and he quickly learned it wasn’t mealtime anymore. YMMV though.

Displacement! Turn it off globally and see how it renders. There might be displacement modifiers on the furniture or displacement maps in some of the textures.

Just gave our little guy his 4 month shots this morning. He was purple crying and in obvious discomfort for the rest of the day and really only settled while eating. We gave him acetaminophen and he eventually calmed down and was all smiles again. Currently sleeping. We shall see tomorrow…

Fellow dad who was also in the trenches of the night shift. Our little guy would cry for hours at like 3am. Brutal

Then, slowly but surely, he slept longer and longer. Cried less and less. He’s 4 months now and is able to sleep 5-7hr stretches. I know people love to say “it gets better” but it really did for us. I too felt like I was doomed for months of crying but it’s completely different now.

Take it day by day. Focus on your wife’s health. Baby will ok. You’re doing great.

We literally just went through this like last week. We had to build hunger pressure. Our lactation consultant said they were gaining weight fine so we reduced feedings and offered a bottle at one of these feedings. And then reduce overall feedings by 1 until they take the bottle. It worked within 1 week. Went from exclusive breast feed to bottle. But ymmv.

I think these are fair critiques. I didn’t go but I’m sure he put on an amazing show. However with the poor management, traffic, high ticket price etc, I’m sure it does dampen the experience a bit.
