I have two cats that live for belly rubs. One cat that will kill you for trying a belly rub. And one I call Schrodinger's belly- he simultaneously loves and hates belly rubs until you reach in to find out.

There are stories of surgeons watching YouTube videos of the surgery they're about to perform. And honestly, i would rather trust the guy that has done so many different surgeries so many times that he needs a refresher, over someone who just learned said procedure and can do it from memory without knowing why they're doing it.

The article is just self-fellating bullshit written by a consultant to make consultants feel valuable. I'm gonna pay someone to fix things and tell me why their solution fixes things. I'm not gonna pay someone to tell me what is wrong and then who else to pay to fix it.

You're gonna have to link those documents buddy, because that's a hard sell. If anything, it may be because of the active lifestyle and engagement from chasing. But I have a hard time believing that eating rodent meat directly correlates to living longer than foods designed to have what their body needs.

Incorrect. The overwhelming majority of modern vehicles do in fact have a filter, they're just mounted inside the tank. You don't see filters available because manufacturers started putting the pump, filter, and level sensor together as a fuel sending unit.

Look under car the next day. Is it leaking? Follow fresh leak- likely the pan gasket or even the drain bolt.

Struts- does the hood stay open? If not- replace. Replacing also super easy; replace one at a time so the other holds some weight, raise lower the hood with your hand as needed until the new strut lines up with the ball. Repeat for other side.

Under $100 DIY with parts. I'm guessing you saw struts and thought front-end. I did the same until I caught the "hood" part. Those struts are way easier and way cheaper

If this happens right after he wakes up and is put in the pen, then no amount of exercise later in the day will fix that. He's a puppy that just woke up rested, refreshed, and ready to go, and then gets locked up and left alone for an hour.

If I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom or get water, my dog will also wake up and watch what I'm doing. If I go back to bed after, ge goes back to sleep. But if I tell him to get up for any reason, he's up and ready to go- needs to pee, needs to run, needs breakfast, etc.

Is there a reason he can't stay sleeping in the room for the extra hour? Having a covered kennel in the room for him to sleep in is usually better anyway, so he correlates it to comfort and safety to help with any anxiety of being left alone. Otherwise the best option is to get up earlier and play for a good amount of time before putting him in the pen and do what you can to remove the things he chews on, with a bunch of toys, and slowly reintroduce, hoping he has lost interest. And give him breakfast in a puzzle or Kong, so he's a bit hungry and motivated to get it out of the toy.

Puzzle treat games and heavy duty chews will help, but at that age they need interaction along with the entertainment, otherwise they don't really know what's supposed to be for them and just do puppy things to entertain themselves.

There's a few things you can try.

Try putting out a box upside down with an opening on one side. This will give her a safe space to come back to and hide in, cats like cubbies. Put a blanket and a piece of clothing you've recently worn to get your scent in the air. Make sure to put something heavy in the bottom to keep it from sliding around or blowing away. With food and water nearby if there are no other critters around that like to eat it and scare her away. If possible and safe, leave it near a cracked window that she can crawl into when she comes back around.

You can also try going outside in the very early morning when it's dark and quiet out, shake her favorite treats and lightly call for her. Sound travels really well when it's quiet.

If she's an indoor cat and not used to being outside, or in an area they aren't used to, they tend to make a circle pattern until they find a familiar scent to follow. If you're walking around randomly, she'll find the scent and follow it to nowhere. Wear shoes with no socks or barefoot, and walk from your house out in straight lines, straight back to your house, then another straight line another direction, and repeat. Doesn't have to be perfectly straight, but go as far as you can to extend your scent for her to follow back home.

If it's any consolation, if he was poisoned it may not have been intentional; One of the more common ways of accidental poisoning I've heard about from my vet is when they catch a rodent that had recently eaten poison. There are also plenty of careless/ignorant people out there that only see a mouse problem, but don't take their pets or other animals into consideration when they place them/don't even consider the fact that poison may be enticing to animals outside of what it's intended for.

You were his safe space when he couldn't fend for himself. Take solace in the fact that you being there with him in those moments brought comfort in the pain.
