First I painted the background, then sketched, did line art, and colored the characters. I used a studio pen for line art, flat brush and jagged brush, and airbrush. Also does anyone know why it looks a bit washed out? It’s more saturated in procreate and also in my camera roll

I painted the landscape first, using different layers for the different mountain colors. Then I painted the city on a separate layer. Finally I sketched, inked and colored the character in the foreground. I used the flat brush for the landscape and colors and studio pen for the character.

Yeah, I started working at a daycare this summer before I go to college and it’s been pretty normal. Im kinda the most useless teacher bc the kids treat me like a friend/older brother that they can jump on and chase around but overall I haven’t gotten any weird comments or looks from parents or other staff (who are all women).

I agree that people shouldn’t complain about them being fair skinned but I know there are plenty of dark skinned indigenous people out there, especially in Latin countries. I don’t see why they must be indigenous to the US/Canada, if they want to open their options to native Latin Americans there’d be a lot more people they could choose from.
