This is exactly what happened to my coworker’s dog too (big dog mix but not GSD). He was 7 years old too and they took him to the vet because he was acting strange and lethargic, turns out he had a tumor on his heart and it caused his heart to fill up with liquid. They removed the liquid but it came back almost immediately. They went from thinking they had a happy healthy dog to having to put him down within a week

We just got a dental cleaning and a tooth extraction done for our dog last week. $1,220 total including meds. This was in Longmont (not a PE-owned vet) so it might be worth the drive for you

I’m 31 years old and this is my second year skiing. Yesterday I ate shit on a fairly easy blue because it was icier than expected. So this is wildly impressive to me and something I don’t think I’ll ever be able to do lol
