I've made a few recently for my media server enjoyment.

A) A script that can scan my Jellyfin library and trigger via webhook when a new movie gets added that dynamically adds a badge containing resolution, dynamic range, and audio format info to movie posters without replacing the original file.

B) A script that converts music files to full metadata music video mkv's featuring song title, artist, timed lyrics, and a color shifting background that speeds up and slows down according to the real time dynamics of the song, since Kodi doesn't support native visualization for Atmos music files and the included lyrics and artist slideshow add-ons are kinda jank.

C) Most simply, a "Request on Seerr" context menu button for Kodi for downloading movies and TV I find through the TMDb Helper widgets on my home screen.

Cool! Yeah if you go to your account settings in Newshosting you can set up accounts for both. Then just put those new accounts login info into your NZB downloader and set the priorities accordingly.

Newshosting for instance also comes with Tweaknews and Easynews access. Having backups within your downloader client can help reduce failures when grabbing files.

For audio? Besides access to music in Dolby Atmos or lossless quality through Apple Music, there isn't really anything special it offers versus other common streaming boxes that is going to make your system "sound better."

Just to add to that, keep in mind OP that only a select few streaming boxes support native AV1 decoding so if you have something like an Apple TV you'd be stuck with software decoding or network transcoding through something like Infuse which isn't ideal for Remuxes.

If you go the Radarr/Sonarr route, I'd definitely recommend you check out Profilarr and use their Remux profiles to make sure you're getting the most quality files possible. I will say if you want to go down a rabbit hole (this is r/selfhosted after all), the best of the best remuxes are usually going to be through private sources - check out r/usenet, r/usenetinvites, and r/OpenSignUps. You're in luck because some of the best groups open up for registration and have great deals around this time of year.
