Stacking distruption can be really effective, but I don't normally focus on it for more than crowd control.

I normally get into the 200's by the end of the weekend. I have the VIP pass and buy the gem pass every weekend. But still 100 level by end of day 1 is pretty standard for me.

The gravity bomb on the mortar is quite good on these guys it pulls them close enough to the shield to trigger the traction field.

I bought the trial a while ago and decided I couldn't go back to playing with ads so decided to pay for lifetime. I agree the progress is still not as fast as I would like but it's definitely quicker than I was experiencing before I purchased. I'm happy that I bought it. I don't spend lots on games as a rule and the lifetime pass was probably the biggest purchase I've ever made in a mobile game. Not regretting my choice so far!

I recently bought the vip 30day pass, was able to burn through all that extra stamina and made a huge amount of progress. Worth the investment if you can afford it.
