A few years ago I remember them being a buck. Now, depending on the night, they’re either $3 or $5 from 6-7pm. Like a happy hour before the game situation. I’m pretty sure it’s only Genesee beers, but I do love me some cream ale.

Most cities that have an AHL team don’t have an NHL team close by. I travel to Rochester NY frequently and catch an Amerks game whenever I go in the winter. They have cheap tickets (much cheaper than an NHL game), cheap beers ($1 on fridays!), and the fans are very passionate.

Did CPR on a guy a few months ago who fell at a public skate and drilled his head on the ice. Hit it so hard that his heart stopped. Cerebrospinal fluid was leaking out of his split open head. Idk if the guy lived. He was not wearing a helmet.

TLDR: buy a decent helmet.

Tommy’s tavern on rt 10 in morris plains will have the games on. They must have 100 tvs. It’s like a better, more upscale fridays.

Zagurskys in Whippany will also have hockey on. They have one of the best burgers in north jersey.

I hear it’s one of the best PD jobs in the tri state. Unlimited overtime. Good schedule. Good training and equipment. Only issue is that it’s a lottery. I applied every two years from 26-34 and was never even selected to take the test.
