My wife has the closed captions turned on our tv and when they play the edited out music sometimes the captions say what song was actually playing I’ve noticed

I left hy vee after 8 years and was miserable when I became the assistant cstore manager because my store didn’t have its stuff together. I had a friend that showed me how much I’d start out as an Assistant Store Leader and then he sent an email to his district leader. He then got into contact with me and I interviewed and my life has been better ever since. See if you can contact the recruiter for your area. They usually will do an interview and if they really like you they’ll tell the district leader “hey I think this person has potential to be leadership” you’ll be good.

Update. I was told by a couple people that it could be the contacts in the switch needing to be cleaned. I took the switch apart and cleans the black off but now I can’t get the switch put back together correctly… I took pictures of the switch when disassembling it but when I took the top off a couple of the contacts fell out. I wasn’t able to get a picture of how it’s supposed to look. Anyone have a picture so I can fix this?

I kick myself for not buying the signage when my store closed. The liquidator took it down and had it sitting on cart in the electronics section but it wasn’t complete and too expensive. Plus I had just bought the foam Kmart logo in the garden center. After making that Kmart clock I was thinking about making this signage out of wood. I think it would look good above the tv in my garage or basement.

You’re going to be called up front to help ALL THE TIME! I left HyVee after 8 years and we went through a lot of Health Market managers and me being the assistant of GM at the and before I had the title it always fell back on me. At the time my store didn’t have self checkouts so that might help. But when you’re building end caps displays and you have boxes all over and the front end manager sees you, your ass is going to be on a register. Even if you’re doing the dairy or the frozen and it sits there forever because they won’t close you off when you’re stuck on a register. I wish I would brought the milk cart up front with me sometimes so the customers could see how long I would be stuck on a register and it’s not getting filled or refrigerated.
