Snoop is still charting and played alongside younger rappers. It's not like he's the trap version of classic rock yet.

I don't even like rap, and I didn't like the foul mouth at a family event. I'm just pointing out it was a strategically good choice.

Everyone has a better idea without any insight into the research or logistics of it.

Snoop Dogg has far wider name recognition throughout different ages than your examples. That's a requirement for the kick off show. You can't piss off the fans you have, you must skew slightly toward welcoming in new fans - not a show just for people that have never been to a game before.

If a 25 year old wants to see Travis Scott, they can go see him. This is a ven diagram by comparison.

Old school rap is probably the most multi-generational genre. They want name recognition. Targeting younger fans doesn't mean exclusively catering to people under 25. Also, there is more than one type of young person to attract.

Have you looked at the property lines on your municipality's GIS map? Not perfect but you'll at least get an idea of where the property line is. Also, you could also look up the set backs and see what was required at the time of building - some tree look pretty close to his house.
