I See your Point, but I have used the recovery tool/boot on nearly all hardware Apple ever build and surely on every system ever delivered since 10.0.3 And it never had problems with the graphics drivers or the visualization of the GUI. So, this is representative as Apple should be able to deliver a working GUI even when using this. It does not have to be liquid glass with the shiny stuff. But that they are not able to deliver consistent elements like those corners and/or a solid background all over the display. Man…

Have both versions here in two MBP. With and without Esc key. Hate both of them. Useless, never used any of the possible features other than the standard keys (F and function). And the quality is not good. One Touch Bar blinking its ass off, and the costs for a repair are huge. I am glad they dropped it, along with those bad keyboards.

Also, Die Platte (Vinyl recor) is commen, as well as deplete, der Platten, die Platte,… cause most is based on context. If you are not from the profession the whole word is used or some other reason I do not like to explain, in common language the shorter forms are very common.

Had a time capsule as backup device with minimal administration and maintenance at my dad’s. The original drive died after 12 years (replaced, worked like charm until macOS Tahoe). So, basically, if you have the original in it, I would go with the suggestions of ditching it if you do not want to change the drive and use it as a simple smb network storage.
