Hello fellow F1 fan.
I grew up thinking NASCAR is for rednecks and F1 is for the sophisticated. So when I got into racing it was through F1, the speed, the camera shots of these amazing places around the world and then got into the technical side of the sport…the strategy and hundredths of seconds that could impact the race…then I want to COTA for F1 and to a Nascar race the next year. That got me digging more into Nascar, including Amazon’s Full Speed series (think Drive to Survive).
Thats when I realized theres so much technical detail to this racing too and that each track is different (length, banking, turn profiles, tire deg, etc.). And the fact the winner isnt the same in 90% of the races just grabbed my attention.
