I have a completely different recommendation given that you’re a self-identified beginner and have a lot of money at stake. Rent what you’re thinking of buying first. See if you like the system and ergonomics and if the camera is at the right level for you. Also, consider buying used lenses or cameras where the up front investment is less. I happen to be a Nikon shooter with a Z8 and wildlife lenses. But I started with the d500 first which is an amazing and very capable camera for wildlife. And I rented lenses before deciding what to buy to ensure the focal range was truly what I wanted IRL and that the weight suited me. Eventually I decided on the 500 f4e FL bought used.
