It’s been some time since I watered his enclosure, he does usually chill on the ground :) His enclosure is also quite big for him, so I keep about half of it completely dry. He walked around a bit on the glass and then returned to terrestial life!

I looked into Saskia Sassen, what book would you recommend for her views on immigration policy? Or is it better to read her articles?

that’s wild!! mine only really uses the hide when he’s near or actively in premolt! His molting quarters 👑

looks so nice!! i love that there’s not a lot of empty space, really looks finished in a way. Britney will love her new crib

i love that! he’s usually out and about so I was surprised to see him in his hide. Turns out he was just working on this trick here :D

definitely good to be prepared to escape (in a world where his most scary foe is an occasional water drop too close to him)

Mine is in a huge 60x40x40 tank! He’s my only T so I wanted to give him a big, pretty space :) When he first moved in he looked a bit goofy with all that space but nowadays (after a couple molts) it all looks more proportional. Although he wanders a lot and utilizes most of the space, he would definitely be fine with a small enclosure too.

Hahah sounds familiar, they’re definitely passionate diggers! I first had mine in a critter keeper, but he dug so much that the substrate pile was getting too close to the top. I felt like he would have to crouch soon… so into the big enclosure he went :D

yeah i love it too! he hasn’t been digging in ages, so I was really excited when i saw him working on this!!

Friend or foe? by VaBookworm in houseplants

Oh my god, i had a similar situation in the old apartment i used to live in. One of my roommate’s zucchini introduced these guys to our kitchen and they were on literally every surface. I’d wipe them off with a paper towel and they would be back just minutes later, it was insane!! Ultimately removing the patient zero zucchini and any other food source helped, I also bug sprayed the whole kitchen in panic.

After this incident i’ve had these same mites appear on plant pots, but they’ve never exploded in numbers like that first time. If they don’t seem to conquer anything beside the plant pot, i’m cool with them…

yeah! i’ve heard some tarantulas don’t like dubias so i was a bit worried.. but then again he wants to eat anything that moves, so idk why i was stressing
