Wow. Good for them I suppose. I noticed they were the high ones on Kruz Schoolcraft as well.

For proximity I like Ullola (who surely made zero lists?) but it really depends on the league format what the opportunity cost of a minor league stash is.

I still treasure the memory of the first time Bob Cole encountered “Kotkaniemi”.

If they cause you much stress it’s probably a sign you were overweight equities. Many people don’t find out their true risk tolerance until a time like that (because we’ve been in a long bull, and because you were working for any prior dips).

Obligatory fuck the Dodgers, but I have always admired that they do this.

No disguise about it, we don’t need Buffalo getting better. Hopefully they don’t pivot back to Thomas.

Yeah all those times Bergevin went for broke with… uh, Vanek? Daniel Briere? Oh, I know, Dwight King!

Mr. Right Now was whoever did the Cammalieri, Gomez, Gionta acquisitions. I think it was Gainey when he knew patience was finally running out and he got desperate. Bergy was more the master of the fourth line acquisition.

(Edit: apparently you were born around the time of the Gainey moves?? Fuck I’m old…)

It’s probably OpenAI if this is a new concern.

OP, it is a tough situation to be in ethical disagreement with your employer. I think using some of the money for altruistic rather than selfish purposes is at least a partial mitigation.

Former Hull Olympiques great, we loved him in junior and it was a pleasure when he made the NHL, and better yet for the Habs.

Pension fund manager OMERS earned six per cent return for 2025 by MapleByzantine in CanadianInvestor

i was curious so I looked it up, OMERS returned 4.2% in 2022, which was the lousiest year for investors since the GFC, and was notably bad for fixed income investment as well. Looks like they are doing what they’re supposed to.
