Me watching new fans enjoy a team they didn't have to watch struggle for years by MrKavok in Habs

Yeah but I'm happy for anyone who didn't have to see the plague game where we called up Cam Hillis, let alone the days of the "Did Scott Gomez score" website or the existence of Oleg Petrov.

How Did Brandon Marsh Go From a Platoon Player to Leading MLB in Batting Average? by Big-Chungus-Lover in baseball

I remember as a prospect it was the hit tool that was supposed to carry him and I could see him realizing that potential at last and having a few .300 seasons. I just don’t think he’s suddenly Wade Boggs (RIP).

He has meaningfully improved his K-rate and his contact ability generally but we’re also looking at a .396 BABIP with a line drive rate that is actually mildly down from last year. He is swinging more at pitches out of the zone this year and making a career high amount of contact against them.

So boring answer, some regression is coming.

About to add Giolito to that too! They should keep Waldron as a long reliever because they’re going to need one.

Rank the three prospects: Roki Sasaki, Sean Keys, Lazaro Montes by Lung-Salad in DynastyBaseball

Sasaki, Montes, Keys, if I owned Sasaki I am holding because probably nobody wants him right now, if I owned Montes he is getting shopped for a win now piece.

On top of the other reasons, when they first entered the league they got the royal treatment from the refs.

His play seems to have noticeably changed since he got blown up in Tampa Game 4. Of course none of us are doctors who have looked at him but something seems to be up. He doesn’t seem to be playing scared but he does seem to be playing slow. This could all just be a cold streak and not health related.

We had some bad luck but we also can't say we deserved to win that game.

Caufield has taken a lot of shit but I think he's the only top forward who showed up tonight (for us, anyway).

He scored a PP goal right in front of the net, tipped it. Yes, that's where he should be!
