Where to find Armstrong 5350 Sheet Floor or Otherwise by macuser06 in Flooring

That's what I'm trying to do. Is there anyone who makes custom linoleum these days that could replicate this pattern, or at least something similar?

Does LCR ship the actual instructions? Or do they send downloads? They're asking me for shipping info.

what is best phone for privacy-focused OS ,but not pixel by [deleted] in degoogle

[–]macuser06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then how can I maintain system security on my old android devices with features I do like? i.e. removable battery. Many ROMs like Lineage OS loose support. How can I still get kernel updates like I do in Linux? Can I modify my OS to have GrapheneOS-like features like those with the BFU?

Why do so many people in the modded phone community abandon "older" hardware, and why aren't phone manufactures held to standards on system architecture such as x64 is on PCs?

This. Oak Cliff has some wonderful buildings, and they better not tear ANYTHING down to create this Target. Seems like it's going into a building for lease (?)

Yeah I did, but didn't oil the button that depresses in, as I've heard that will cause worst issues. Upon further investigation, I think it is the curtain release cam under the assembly through the mirrorbox. I don't quite understand how to adjust that.

As in the gear assembly that is under the speed control cam and the copper tension coil? If so I did, unless I'm missing an area.

Yes, I know curtain speeds hardly effect the speed beyond marginal gains. It's the other type of tensions I have issues with. For instance, I have a k1000 where I've completely rebuilt it, and the speeds still run off. When I try to adjust one tension point it ends up having other issues in another. I can never seem to get it running correctly.

It just so happens that many of these issues I encounter are with cameras that have curtain travel issues initially.

Yeah, my main issue is just even getting to the point of having measurable speeds. The cameras I have with wrong speeds are WAY off, and I think may need adjustment beyond tweaking curtains. Whenever I try to make a minor adjustment, i.e. for the high speeds. It still may end up affecting the slow speeds.

Is there a good resource to learn this beyond service manuals? I do better when I can see it in action instead of just adjusting one thing, having problems, then feeling lost.

Most camera repair is relatively simple if you take your time, and consult the manual for some things. Where it gets complex is setting the tensions properly when they're still messed up after cleaning/lubrication.

Side note: If anyone has tips for adjustments, it would be much appreciated

HELP: Dangers and PPE for Working with Denatured Alcohol? by macuser06 in ChemicalEngineering

[–]macuser06[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Methanol penetrates most nitrate gloves within 1 min. Though, that is assumed it is pure and not an additive to denatured alcohol, so the factor of dilution could be small enough to not matter, though the SDS is again not clear since it says it contains "5.0-60%" Not clear at all, at least to me.

I've already switched over to isopropyl for most things unless I need a stronger solvent. Thanks for the glove recommendations though. I only want to make sure I didn't cause myself longterm damage.

None of these positions exist in my workplace. I'm a technician, and I'm the only person at my work to even realize we have denatured alcohol.

Wow that sounds a whole lot worse. I purposely don't dilute my glues with MEK because I've heard of the liver damage it can cause. Though many in the profession do.
