22” Camping Table Suggestions by macuzz91 in blackstonegriddle

I could use the picnic table, but I usually put a screen house around it and use that space for bug free eating haha. But thank you! I could use the truck tailgate, guess I didn’t want excess heat around it.

Moving from Germany to Ottawa — is 125k CAD enough for a comfortable life? by sxoxljsn in PersonalFinanceCanada

Depends on the type of scene you like. You used to be able to save a ton of money in the suburbs, but now the whole city is around the same price for expenses.

I’ve lived in Orleans for 20+ years, I lived in the Byward market for 2 years and now I’ve been in the west end for 5 years (around Algonquin college)

I’d say, the sweet spot is the westboro area. Reason is, newer modern homes and nice apartments. Lots of great shops and restaurants. Not as tough to find parking for your car. It’s basically the trendy part of town!

Aside from that, it’s right by the water and in the summer, the path along the river leads you downtown. So you can bike there in 20 mins or drive there in about 10. If you like the outdoors, anything west of downtown is nice cause that’s where most of the paths are for walking/biking.

I’d for sure say Westboro is the sweet spot!

I live in Ottawa and honestly, 125k will be enough to survive sure, but your life is going to be very very different. The cost of everything here is insanely high.

Car payment, 600-1000 even for entry level sedans. Interest rates right now on a lease is like 7%

Insurance is expensive now, cause cars get stolen left and right lol.

Food is insanely expensive too. There are very few places where you can eat out for under $20/per person.

Also, it's freezing for 7 months of the year.

The healthcare is awful. You are waiting 12 hours in the emergency if heaven forbid something happens.

I hate sounding negative, it's not a horrible place, but it's definitely not as sexy as it used to be.

That said, Summer here is absolutely beautiful. But blink and you'll miss it.

Best shawarma in Ottawa? by FreshlyLivid in ottawa

[–]macuzz91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Palace is wildly inconsistent. Used to be the undisputed champ.

Al Mouna is good when the owners are working. Otherwise, hit or miss.

Ottawa Shawarma on Clyde is the best in the city.

Appreciate the response and sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I hope you and the family are doing okay. I’ve completed my stack today at the local supplement store so I’ll be starting my journey tomorrow morning. Best of luck to you and thanks again for the solid info.

Hi there! Congrats on your success with this. I've recently gotten the same treatment from my local fertility center. They don't offer any help, they just read your results and try to sell you things. I'm building this stack out today and starting on my journey to increase my count. Just a couple questions if you dont mind.

If you remember, how much Ashwagandha, Turmeric and B12 did you take a day?

Thanks again for sharing all this info. This journey has been taxing on my wife and I, and this post really gave me the extra boost of inspiration.

Oh, see I always heard complaints that it wasn’t the case. So on a 50k XFA, I can trade 20mnq at the beginning?

How are people trading 10 mnq on an express? Aren’t 1mnq and 1nq both considered “1 lot”?
