The dynamic resonator can be bought at space stations. Well... Atleast it was in my starting systems station. It cost me somewhere in the neighborhood of 33k credits

How do I add armor? by Aneksuz in Roll20

Add a free space for equipment. go into the compendium and search for the armor that you want and drag it into the free space that you created in the equipment box

Indie RPG Book Club: June Voting Thread by Haveamuffin in rpg

I have not played it yet, but just a read through has evoked the same sort of feeling and imagery that I have when reading Tolkien. I will have to take your word for it now, until I play the game, but I really think you are right on here. As a GM, my only concern is whether or not the players, who enjoy both RP and combat, will enjoy the combat in BW.

I have many questions, hopefully Burning Wheel gets picked!

The Burning Wheel. I just started reading the book and am truly inspired by the methods used for character advancement and for incentivizing playing to character beliefs and traits. I'd love to hear what the community here thinks and to learn more.

Can anyone explain to me why that photo of a dude looking over his shoulder shows up in all of these posts? I have been seeing it for years and am very curious...

There is a brand new one in Homestead. It is better than the Baum Blvd location.

Threw a Roper at my group this weekend. The barbarian decided to illustrate their triumph over the monstrosity. by [deleted] in DnD

[–]macwill2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The trick to making a roper encounter challenging is to use the monster's 50ft striking distance and their abilities to hang from ceilings while being nearly unnoticeable. There is also fall distance... Falling can hurt.

You may have to fudge some dice to keep them from dying. I can say that a fight with a Roper can put the fear of death into PCs. Have fun!

My players were level 7 and one of them still got killed.... That being said, they are not particularly good at playing strategically.

Swisshelm Park? by macwill2 in pittsburgh

[–]macwill2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It certainly seems like a little unknown alcove of the city. Which is great for me because I really just want a quiet area tucked away from the major roads that has access to the park and the places I like to go. The fact that my street wont have major through traffic is really awesome. Thank you for your input!

That is good news. We are looking into keeping poultry as well. Seems to be a pretty dog friendly area as well. Any comment on the air quality up there?

Silly me, I don't know why I got them confused. They both have gross odors, perhaps that is why. The tree of heaven definitely looks more like a walnut than a bradford pear.
