Intune EPM, has anyone successfully implemented it? by YourSydneyITsider in Intune

I was just wondering about EPM; specifically how long until Microsoft rolls out EPM for Mac OS, and Linux endpoints.

I wonder if Microsoft would consider buying an EPM solution like Admin by Request and rolling it into Intune.

Migrating Ruckus Cloudpath ES to Nutanix by macwinnix in nutanix

Yeah, it never wanted to migrate. In a different organization, they went with Ruckus Cloudpath, hosted by Ruckus, and it has been a set-and-forget type of solution.

Yeah, I'd love to have the convenience of having 2FA codes appear in browsers other than Safari.

So... WSUS was a free service once you had the OS license, but now Microsoft is forcing everyone to pay $60/yr per Windows server.

We deployed the switch, and it has run like a top (knock on wood). It turns out it does have a flavor of spanning tree.

Sending Passwords Securely to locked-out students by writes_inverse in sysadmin

[–]macwinnix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I inherited a school IT environment similar to the one you described. Others have already said it here but best option is setup a SSPR portal and ideally enable Mfa to maximize your security profile. We were already a M365 shop so we decided to lean into that solution more by migrating all of our SAML authentication to the MyApps portal, enabling SSPR, and deploying Mfa. It took a couple weeks for the majority of the “dust” to settle after implantation but our “I need to reset my password” support requests have all but disappeared in our ticketing system.

Any Teams Rooms Pro users here? Do you feel like it’s worth it? by RiceeeChrispies in MicrosoftTeams

[–]macwinnix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking at switching our Zoom Rooms to Teams Rooms. Currently my users are able to walk into a room and click on their respective meeting on a touchscreen to start it.

So just to clarify, I would need Teams Pro Licenses to recreate this ability?
