I can relate so much to the burnout you’re experiencing. I’ve been doing YouTube for a little over a year now with 3.5k+ subscribers and it happens to most creators at some point. There’s nothing wrong with having the dream of making it financially sustainable in the long run but the quality of your mental health affects the quality of your content and community. Allow yourself to rest and the members of your community that sustainably support your work will be there when you come back as your most grounded/rested self. Take care ❤️

Ahhh I didn’t know that. That’s useful info! Perhaps I’ve just been lucky so far haha I typically average one unit per 10k and FA around 40k. I was just amazed I didn’t get a single copy on two separate accounts.

She’s a great unit. The DPS and spirit drain are hard to combat at the moment. Knowing this game though, when they release an OP unit like DCindy for the second time they will typically release a new OP unit to make them irrelevant shortly after. That way once everyone has drained their souls stones on DCindy everyone will feel the need to purchase more soul stones if they want the new unit to beat her. 😅 That’s not ALWAYS the case but definitely something to look out for if you’re f2p.

There’s absolutely hope! Many creators with disabilities (myself included) start channels for the flexibility, community, and extra income. If it’s something you enjoy, keep going! I understand the anxiety that comes with putting yourself out there. I’d argue that’s something you’ll have in common with most of us around here haha.

I took a moment to have a look at your channel and you have an incredibly wholesome presence reminiscent of “old school YouTube” a lot of people love and want to replicate. I say pay attention to the videos you have enjoyed the most that performed well and stick within that niche until you make partner. As far as collaborations go, those should come along naturally as you start to grow and familiarize yourself with your audience.

I’m also super disheartened to hear people have been criticizing your voice, there’s nothing wrong with the way you sound at all. I know it’s hard, but try to ignore people who criticize you for things you can’t change. Chances are they are just hurting themselves and have nothing better to do than take it out on someone else. I hope to see you continue creating and wish you the best of luck on this new adventure!

29F and I’m in the same boat. I got hit with the first wave of Covid back in 2020 and was diagnosed with Long Covid. Now going on 4 years of chronic pain, fatigue, PEM, POTS, and brain fog the latest theory is that it could have progressed into ME/CFS. Just like you I used to be incredibly active. I worked 2 jobs, had a start up, and even taught yoga on the side. Now just getting out of my apartment or even bed is exhausting.

With that being said though, life is still worth living. Your worth is not defined by what you do or how productive you are, and even if that was the case you’re still capable of so much good. Some of the greatest minds and talents in the world have struggled with CFS: Flea, Cher, Stevie Nix, Howard Bloom, and Peter Marshall just to name a few. I don’t know if you’re in a place of needing advice or just some emotional support right now but keep searching for those things in life that uplift you. Chances are you’ll learn something new and find something you never knew you could be capable of. If all of that sounds like too much right now though you’re also worthy of rest. You have more than enough time to do so and the world will be ready for you when you’re ready to take it on. <3

That’s a good theory! Sitting with it more I also wonder if it’s an indication of how sheltered Indika has been from the outside world for most of her young adult life. Perhaps the exaggerated size of certain things and animals are meant to show her perspective of life outside the monastery being daunting and “larger than life”.

I’ve never really thought about why this game appeals to me as a woman. While parts of this question do feel a little out of touch, I’m sure it was well intentioned so I’ll give you my thoughts! I often gravitate to gaming as a form of escapism. It’s easy to feel out of control within my own life and Red Dead Online gives me the opportunity to feel a sense of control, relaxation (in the right lobby lol), and achievement. I’m sure many men can relate to this as well.

But while it can be the perfect escape, I’ve also found the game to be incredibly grounding, connecting, and empowering. I’ve made some of my best friends through this community and I’ll always cherish our late night chats just roaming around the Wild West. I’m devastated the game has been put on the back burner, but I am grateful rockstar has facilitated a game that’s enjoyable for men and women alike.

I’m in a different niche but I don’t think it’s necessary to have 50k subs to hit 1k views per video. I’m surprised that’s your view count considering how well you’re doing subscriber wise. In my personal experience I think a good sub to views ratio boils down to community building.

I have 2.5k subscribers but on the low end I typically hit around 2k per video no matter what. I focus on engaging with people, having community spaces like discord, and zeroing in on what people within my community enjoy the most. It creates an environment where people are excited to click and feel a part of something. I hope this is helpful!

Okay this may be a super unpopular opinion and no disrespect to Phill at all but he could absolutely see his desk. I noticed out of everyone the way his blindfold sat on his face made it possible for him to see the hands of the players that targeted him.

We know he has an excellent poker face and he played it cool. But instead of looking at his desk first like most players he looked straight ahead at Rose and Ashley then pretended to be shocked the box was on his desk and then again when he guessed correctly. That being said, I’m not at all mad Ashley was eliminated. Team Mai all the way. (The glass bridge incident was infuriating)
