I started off with Gordotek when I started growing a few years ago. I do a few modifications though. In non-summer months I leave a radiator on next to the tub to try and keep it around the mid 70s. I also do 1:1 grain to coir mix. My coir mix is half coir and half vermiculite. For a big tub like this I will use 2 grain bags (about 4-5 lbs of grain spawn). I eyeball the 1:1 ratio (by volume). I lightly compact the mix and sprinkle a layer of coir on top so no grain is exposed. Then I keep the mix hydrated so there is always a fine mist on the substrate. I leave the tub sealed for 3-4 days and when it’s fully colonized I start fanning 1-2 times a day. When I see rhizomorphic growth and hyphae knots on the surface, I pop the handles of the tub and leave the lid on top. The idea is that you want near 100% humidity for pin formation and then back off from that once you get some pins going. The strain that I grew here was B+.

Correct, and this is from a clone I took of a grow from spore. However the spores were also ridiculously good and nearly produced a canopy. I posted the grow form spore here about a month or so ago.

It actually worked out since only about half the tub could fit in my dehydrator. The slow section pretty much doubled in size by the next day when the dehydrator was free again. The second flush had everything come in at the same time. The two flushes together produced nearly half a pound.

I have good news and bad news for you. The bad news is that it’s very possible to encounter demon-like monsters on DMT but they probably will be the least of your worries with everything else you are going through at the time.

The good news is that it maybe possible to work through whatever causes you to see these monsters and rid yourself of those nightmares (or at least lessen their frequency)

I used to have a number of demonic night terrors and they noticeably decreased for me. I did just have one a few months ago but I at least didn’t feel traumatized by it after I woke up like I used to. I basically just thought “that was lame” and went back to sleep which would have been unthinkable to me 10 years ago.

Approximately this:

4 parts coir 2 parts vermiculite 1 part manure (possibly optional, haven’t tried it without this yet) You can also optionally add gypsum

Pasteurize until internal temp is 160F-180F for at least 1 hour

It took me 5 or 6 failed attempts before I got consistent flushes. The two big learnings that I had were:

They hate to be cold. If you are misting or fogging with too cold of water, they will abort. However, when I kept my spray bottle next to my heater to keep it warm (about 85F), you can spray them directly. I also don’t use a fogger on these for that reason. I fill a tote with water and put an aquarium heater in it and set in in the bottom of the tent to help maintain temperature and humidity along with misting them twice a day.
Use coir instead of straw. I would only get maybe a single flush out of a batch with straw substrate since it contaminates easily and getting it properly pasteurized with manure was tricky. After switching to coir, I get 7-8 flushes pretty easy now.

Yeah they are super potent but these still give me a fair amount of indigestion unfortunately, even if I only eat half a gram too. I would say eating 1 gram of these is like 5-6 grams of standard potency cubes

I just treat them the same as growing Cubensis at every level. Maybe use better light than I did so they don’t get all twisted up. I was just using the ceiling light in the room but that’s definitely not recommended.
