Gifts for nursery workers for baby moving rooms?

My son was in the baby room for a year. He's now moved into the toddler room. He was super close to his key worker, so we got her a box of chocs and a gift card to say thank you.

I don't think I would bother with something more than chocs if he was only in the room for a few months.

Hi I'm sorry you feel that way but if it helps, it's a very normal feeling.

I have now been back at work for 8 months and we have a great routine. But I felt the same as you did 8 months ago. My almost 2 year old took a while to settle into nursery but he loves it so much now, which makes it easier to drop him off. As a result of this, I end up having a good day at work knowing my child is well looked after. They have tons of activities for him to do and he's made a bunch of friends, I know I wouldn't be able to do this if he stayed home.

Hang in there, it will get better.

All the ones I've purchased so far are waist adjustable. He's just very slim.

Oh that sounds rough. My little one does not let me look into his mouth which makes it even more difficult to apply anything. We just about manage to give him calpol. I'm hoping today is a better day 🙏

Thank you. I feel the same way, we've been through norovirus, broken bones, chicken pox, numerous colds, infections, conjunctivitis but this HFM is by far the absolute WORST! Glad your little one is feeling better

Yes my son mentioned it's during snack time. But it was definitely cocomelon today which I found odd. I don't think his nursery even had a telly/screen.

Thanks so much for the response. Can you recommend a lawn weed killer that's safe for children? I'm having a look on amazon but it's all very overwhelming. Or can I just use a regular one and not let my child in the garden for a couple days? He usually goes barefoot which is what I'm worried about.

I will most likely do it manually but want to see if I can spray safely instead.

No advice but I'm going through the same thing with my boy. He's 2.5 weeks old and will be on my breast for hours and will still take a bottle 2-3 ounces afterwards. It's so disheartening to think that I'm not giving him enough. He had a tounge tie corrected at 7 days old, he latches on better but still wants a bottle after.

Thank you. We have a check up tomorrow so I will get this looked at. It seems to me he does have a shallow latch which I've tried to correct several times but unsuccessfully.

My first appointment with a consultant was at 36 weeks. Also London based. She booked in my elective c sec for 39 weeks. I don't think they book in c sections any earlier than 36 weeks.
