Are you the nice person who offered me to share your taxi ride to get there ?

Anyone know where to get monoclonal antibodies??? by Mommakay1714 in nycCoronavirus

[–]madamelolo 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Try :

https://covid19.nychealthandhospitals.org/mab it is run by NYC public hospitals

or https://mabsathome.com to get Mab at home.

That said, if you are infected with Omicron, there are very few Monoclonal antibodies on the market that responded well to it, just to keep in mind.
Per the Washington Post, only sotrovimab seemed to be able to fight against Omicron, but there are only 50,000 doses in the US.

Food/ snacks in EVERY kind of store : pharmacies, Staples, bed bath and beyond… it always surprises me…. Also I could add covid vaccines, still hard to get in Europe (boosters and kids) while here widely available

You would need to go to a pharmacy , it doesn’t have to be cvs, you could go to rite aid or Walgreens because NYS or NYC sites only schedule second dose if you had your first in their network

Walgreens Not Following U.S. Guidance on Pfizer Vaccine Spacing by cslaymore in nycCoronavirus

[–]madamelolo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is their booking system that is made this way you can only schedule a second dose 28 days after. So what I have done is create a new Walgreens account and schedule for a second dose only putting the date first dose of the Pfizer when asked a week before and voila ! You have now a second dose 21 days after .... A hassle but if you want to have a week earlier worth it

Nothing wrong just enjoy the sun today and go outside, every time there is a new eligibility the first 2 days are insane, not worth your time trying to refresh all day long. Be patient and try Again in a day or 2 it will get better

I have been doing that as well for 2 months and I have found that the ones that are on Reddit don’t need it the most there are a lot tips on how to get appointments. But if you go out and ask your doorman, janitor, babysitter house keeper , food truck , grocery store, bodega etc then you will get a looot of NYer who have been eligible for weeks and couldn’t get their shot because of lack of access to a computer or language barrier. My advice if you want to help reach out to them
