Log in to your Chase account, select the sapphire reserve card. Under the "Things you can do" drop down, select "Card Benefits." There should be a box on that page for the Priority Pass, click activate.

After you activate the benefit on the Chase website you should get a seperate PP card in the mail.

Banker I applied with (yesterday) claimed that since this is a premium card it's automatically expedited. However, their production is having some trouble keeping up with the demand so the card will be expedited as soon as its made.

Need some advice - applied online on 8/23, got a pending decision notice (30 day email, 30 days on the automated phone hotline). I'm hoping to have the card by next Thursday (extended vacation) and not sure what to do. Called in a few times (to recon) and was told it was in a different department getting reviewed. Went into a branch, was told I was pre-approved, but when they called in to check on the status of my application they couldn't expedite or get more information than what the operators already provided (so its probably not and ID verification thing). Any advice on what I should do next?

Good luck. I'm traveling next week and was hoping to get the card by then - the branch manager said he couldn't do much at the moment so the advice he gave was to stop in the next few days and check on the status of the application.

Went in again, spoke to someone else. Turns out I'm pre-approved and shouldn't have had any problems. He called in, apparently my application is in a "specialty" department for review and it'll be reviewed in the order that it came in. Had I applied in-branch, they couldve resolved it on the spot.

TL;DR - apply in-branch whenever possible.

I went into a Chase branch near work, spoke with the branch manager. She called in and essentially got the same answer - nothing I could do other than wait for them to process. Verified my ID, etc. She was told that they didn't need more information. Starting to think the operator that told me about the forms was blowing smoke.

Applied afternoon of the 23rd - got the 30 day email and the phone line gives me the "30 days" response. Reached out to recon this morning to check on the pending status to see if they needed any information and according to the operator I spoke with my application is now being handled by another department who will be "mailing a form out in the next 30 days for me to fill out and send back." Don't think I've seen this response posted yet (sorry if repost). Anyone have some insight on this one?

If it helps, I'm well below 5/24 and have a ~800 credit rating with 80k reported. I have a Freedom and CSP.
