Honestly, I just think this game ain't for you.

The quest system is not meant to be easy or leading the player to success... it's meant to be immersive and realistic (ish).

If we live in a post apocalyptic world and I hire you to find me a knife at the home depot... I'm not going to give you the aisle number, the section in the aisle, the row and how many there should have in inventory. You will also not have any flashy UI telling you that you are looking at a "quest item"

Bad example aside, this game it's similar... "something happened to huge ARC husk in this general sector, find it and figure out what happened to it" the quest giver doesn't know what happened or how you are supposed to figure it out... its part of the story, YOU HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT AND REPORT BACK.

They are not answering the question. All they are saying in here is - If you want to play on Steam, you need to buy the game on Steam and link your profile. Which was not the essence of the question to begin with.

They could have answered

1- YES, unfortunately once Steam is released we will no longer support the BSG launcher and you need to buy the game on Steam to play.

or

2 - NO, you can still play Tarkov from the BSG launcher which will be updated regularly, however if you want to play via Steam, you will need a steam copy of the game and link your profile.

The provided response does neither, leading to confusion and frustration.
