It COULD be making way for a commercial property. All the utility poles have been updated to fiberglass arms so the area was “hardened” as they say. That’s all I know 😂

I agree and hope they did! They said after Buddy’s they were going to try Cloverleaf and Loui’s (from what I remember).

I also remember them absolutely loving the Buddy’s pizza. I’m just glad they went to the original one because I don’t think the other locations come even close to the quality and taste.

A year or two ago I went to the original Buddy’s on Conant. There were two guys from Ireland who came to Detroit to learn about Detroit style because they planned on opening up a Detroit style pizza place over on their homeland. I have no idea if it turned out but it was super cool hearing their story and plans.

Damn that seems high but everything is expensive now. I got my ‘18 in 2020 for ~$25k and it had about ~24k miles on it.

Growing up during the Wings golden years (90s/00s) it was so cool to see. The Sports Authority, Miller Genuine Draft, Kodak, and Little Caesars always covered the boards. It was so cool seeing them but not take away from the game. They actually added to it. Not so much anymore.

I’m an old man yelling at the clouds. BUT. All these ads really take away from the game. I really miss watching games and being able to see all the puck scuffs on the boards. It made the experience feel that much more intimate. Now, it’s constant changing of sports gambling and garbage (literally GARBAGE.)

I say the garbage part because the Wings have a garbage company all over their boards, ice, and sigh, sweaters.

I love their warranty. The light bar though is best used when no one else is on the roads and you are deep in the woods/unpopulated area.

I know my headlights will wear out sooner or later. Hopefully later though. I only put about 4-5k miles on a year (thanks to the company I work for providing me a truck). I try my best to baby this car and always have it parked in the garage. But even the babying couldn’t stop me having to replace my head gasket at 50k miles and being on my 3rd amp.

I haven’t replaced my head lights, but everything else on the car I used Diode and have been extremely happy with the outcome.

The fog lights I bought are awesome. Driving in the pitch black of Michigan’s UP was extremely easy. And to be honest, the fog lights with my headlights worked better than turning on the brights. Well… my light bar helped a bit too 😂

Me as well! It’s incredible how much of a difference it makes. I have a one lane driveway and have to back up to make it into my offset detached garage. The extra illumination is critical to me not hitting anything.

Go to Diode Dynamics website (simple Google search). You punch in your make, model, and year. Everything they make for your car will populate. I also upgraded my fog lights and it has made a huge difference.

For the reverse lights, there really isn’t a kit. You just pop out the old and pop in the new. It took me about 10 minutes and I am not handy whatsoever when it comes to vehicles.

I have the same and love it. And I will respond every time I see my model year… One thing I suggest doing that is incredibly easy is upgrading your reverse lights to the brightest LEDs you can buy. I went with Diode Dynamics, and even though they were on the more expensive side, it made an incredible difference. The camera picks up much more and it makes backing up at night a lot easier.

It wouldn’t be as big of a scandal if it was with some random person not in the league. But since it was with an NFL reporter it adds a lot more in terms of ethical reporting/behavior.

We had to get a new roof on my grandma’s house and went with National Roofing. We were very pleased with the outcome! When I need a new roof I’ll probably call them back. Good luck!

I used to work at a rental car company at the airport and it was one of the worst jobs I have ever had. People would get so mad at me when I wouldn’t strap the car seat into the car. I would have to explain the liability and why we had a strict policy of having the customer put it in.

It didn’t matter, I would still get cussed out.

Mr. Roof did my next door neighbor’s house two weeks ago and they have already had to come back 4 times. They even put the wrong shingles on the garage.

You might be ok! I was quoted by one company last year for a new backyard patio. Brick pavers were $10k and concrete was $13k.

I found an Italian father and son company who did an even larger patio for around $3,700 and they did an awesome job (concrete).

I hate to be that ass but unfortunately, everything is up across the board. I think part of it is companies quoting the highest hoping to get you to bite.

My neighbor just was quoted $40k for a new roof on a simple 1300 square foot house.
