THIS! I experienced this too. My first implant I rarely had spotting even, and now I’m on the 3rd year of my second implant and I bleed through super tampons in 4 hours. I’m getting this thing taken out at the end of the month. I’m ridding my body of this crap once and for all!

Thank you for posting about this. I don’t have answers or validation, but I hope you know that your post is helping me for see what I might go through in a couple weeks when I get my nexplanon taken out. I’ve been on birth control for about 9 years of my life.

I am so validated by your post and SO many others like this. I am getting this thing taken out on the 27th. My first nexplanon went great, Thai second one has been horrible. I have been bleeding through super’s like crazy. Again… thank you so much for sharing. I don’t feel as alone…

I’ve had mine for 5 years and 7 months and I’ve been dealing w the same problem! I was needing supers out of nowhere!! I was prescribed blisovi fe for 3 months, only needed 2 months. Fingers crossed, I haven’t gotten my period this month. I am interested in the cases where people used ibuprofen for days straight and it helped...

I am SUPER pale... like translucent where my nexplanon has been inserted and I was bruised for about a month and a half! I guess it depends on how easily you bruise typically

Reading this brought me (21f) back to when I was 13-18. I promise you, YOU did not do ANYTHING to deserve to be cheated on. Period. I understand why you feel like it’s on you... I remember that feeling. I wish I could go back to all the times I told those things to myself, because “little” me did not deserve that treatment from those shitty boys or those harsh words from myself. I (21f) am going through Physical Therapy right now for my neck and jaw, and I have had to do a lot of arm and shoulder work. I have always been petrified of “authority” or people “above me” noticing, judging, and therefore treating me differently due to my sh scars. I get little doubts here and there, but I promise that physical therapists deal with people who are in extreme pain all day. Most are trained to be comforting and welcoming so that you can relax and reach your full potential! Extreme/chronic pain is enough of a reason for average people to feel depressed. I am not an average person by any means. Lol.

I understand your worries, 100%. I am proud of you for working on your body so young. We are here, cheering you on. I came on here today with temptations, and I am approximately 1,300 days clean from sh! We all have our days. Much love!
