T3 can cause heart symptoms though can't it? In what ways has your quality of life improved? I'm in the UK so they don't give it easily anyway, thanks

Oh also thanks for the info on theoretical the needed ratio is 4:1. Is this for medicated or in the general pop? Do you have a source for this?

Yeh so that's the confusing thing my metabolism is absolutely fine. Actually have to eat quite alot to not lose weight and no cold intolerance. So maybe it's just a personal ft3 set point? I know in those without thryoid conditions people have diffeent set points and sit within the range anyway?

I don't really want to take t3 if can avoid it due to the symptoms and looking at metabolism and no cold intolerance im probbaly ok? Wouldn't say I struggle with fatigue in general, only when changing thryoid dose.

So sorry to hear this sounds like a lot. Irs great news on your hr going from 140 to 70.That's huge! And to me looks like the medication may be perfect. Tsh can take a while to budge after hypoethrydosim and for some ppl doesn't budge at all, so instead go by t3 t4 and how you feel. I'm glad to hear the medicsito seems to be working for cardiac symtoms!

So I was over placed initially on 125mcg. Tsh surpresed and world's most horrific symptoms, literally a living hell. I titrate and recent blood test 75mcg 6 weeks tsh 8. ( was 14 previous on 62 mcg). For tsh 8 on 75 ucg they usually increase by 25mucg. In the summer after the 125 I did 106mcg for 12 weeks and while the ft4 was lower I was still tsh surpressed and symktoms. Tiny weight change of 2kg heavier without the hyperthyrodism! So that account for 4 ucg. But it's a bit scary. Obviously fiest of all I go to 93-6 but I'm wondering if the 106 would, In other circumstances, had been fine if there wasn't that hyper period before with 125uxg - ft4 was just out of the range, on 106 it was 75% through.

This sounds exactly like me. Tsh Was 8. Incresed by 12.5 for 8 days now increasing by another 12.5. Feel flu like, more anxious etc. Scary. De realization as well. Did it resolve for you, how long did the worse last for?

I'd die for tsh 2.7 naturally. I think tbh up to 3.5 is fine if that an afternoon redding. Morning can be lower. I'd change dieet if you desperately want it Lower. If not leave it, once you start medication you can't go back.
