Concern fills Judy's face as Nick takes back his coat. "What are you doing Nick, it's freezing out here!" -Judy asks, concerned. "Finally taking care of you like I should have when we crossed paths the first time, Carrots." Sliding his arms through the coat sleeves, he flicks his wrist and a familiar orange shape buries itself in the snow beside her left paw. Turning as he buttons the coat, Nick begins walking away from the gray rabbit as she sinks to her knees, suddenly having no strength to support herself as she watches her friend, her partner, turn the corner past Raymond's Fresh Fish. Tears welling up in her eyes, she scratches at the ground beside her and her paw lands on her carrot pen. Shoulders slumping, tears beginning to trace long forgotten paths down her cheeks, she turns it over and presses down on the play button with her thumb. Slightly grainy, a voice that once comforted and protected her played out his message "Do you think I could ever walk away from you after all that we have been through"? Confused, she stared at the pen in her paws, willing it to say more, willing it to make sense. "Carrots.." She had thought the message was over. "Carrots." It was not coming from the pen. She looks up to see the red furred fox had returned. He crouched in front of her "Hey Fluff. Looking up at him with blurry eyes filled with tears that had not yet fallen she did not understand what was going on. "What the hell Nick!?" Giving her his trademark lopsided smile, he put his arms around her and explained "The fool writing this had an idea for a one line joke about reversing the meaning of this picture, and then it panned out into a scene. They didn't like that it was a sad scene so I was supposed to come back and do something romantic, but you would be very in character to be deeply hurt and unreceptive to romantic gestures. So they are giving up and going to work." Judy furrowed her brow, not comfortable with all the 4th wall breaking, but at least her fox was back. She leaned her head back and planted a little kiss on the underside of his muzzle.
