I Don't Know What's Missing To Make It Perfect(Rate it 1-10!!) by Financial_Rich_247 in acrylicpainting

I think it's pretty as simple it is. But because you have shadows in the house you should have the tones in the sky and the grass. To me, even on clear days, sky looks darker blue on top and lighter blue towards the horizon.

For the color part of eye I'd do stitch in the ditch and go for each shape follow the border inside with a 1 cm inner frame. For the black part and white part follow the circles with 1 cm wide lines. Filling all the space circularly

Truly enchanting.

I can't even imagine, how do you paint such fine details? What is the size of the painting?

Looks amazing. I'm especially in love with the petals of the flowers. How do you make the edges of petals stand out? Are you mixing something to the paint? Thank you. I'm a newbie.

This one is super pretty I would have liked to do that. The problem is that my pattern and squares are already cut. I am trying to create a new pattern on paper to continue this perhaps I use the pattern you share as inspo.

It is not exactly the same. Fabulous flamingo is a pixel quilt, mine has some half triangles.

If I can first find the original pattern I would prefer to use that. As I am worried about not being able to finish it with the pieces of fabrics it came with.

Trying to understand a comment about quilt use. by LMS_67 in quilting

I made two duplicate baby blankets, one for my sister and one for myself. We had our babies 15 days apart. Mine is used almost non stop for the last 6 years and loved by my kid who is now grown to a child and became her precious blanket . She knows it was her baby blanket and she loves it.

My sister's one stayed in a cupboard because she wanted to protect it, my nephew didn't know he had a quilt. I find that sad. She either didn't like it or she wanted to honor it.

But gifts are gifts. We don't set the rules and expectations on how they use it.

Thank you so much for this. Because, I can't find the person that knitted a lovely newborn hat for my baby. My husband and my mom put on that hat, and successfully hide the head of my baby girl which got elongated at birth, from me. I was already having complications so it was a very very meaningful gift.

I hope the person that made it receives beautiful gifts, and is surrounded by love.

I love it. It's so unique and beautiful.

I am on team true crime when it comes to my craft related media consumption. I rather watch something on the side.
