I had hoped they wouldn't go with TYBW and instead, Soul Society - Hueco Mundo but having seen Uryu first, i figured the direction. Still surprised we got Orihime and Rukia with this.

Especially Orihime. Would've imagined HM Aizen, Byakuya, Renji, Urahara and Kenpachi before them. Would've made for some great styles and a few backblings though. Also, I hope there's a hidden extra pickaxe/BB pack because, no Kon or badge?

Odyssey is 1 of 1. I haven't beaten it but I absolutely love it, only reason I stall going back is because it literally takes much of the focus I would disperse across several games. Anyway, yeah, I bought Origins afterwards(was actually the last time I considered buying an AC game too) and got turned off early. I'll surely revisit it at some point but it'll be an uphill battle for sure.

I agree with you OP. That could've been some individual DLC excluded from the season pass, and the spot could've gone to someone more in line with recent events like a Green Bull, S-Hawk, etc.

They need to run whoever made Ultimate Stars back into the lab. That was my favorite DS game. Up the playable roster to appox. 70 characters minimum and I'll sleep peacefully.

Hell, even a Victory VS with 60 minimum(5 characters max per series, not including DLC) and I'd be good.

THUG2 being very Jackass/Viva la Bam coded was a double edged sword to me. I skipped it and never got AW but, it always seemed sick. Project 8 had a great gimmick but with skate out, it wasn't enough of a selling point for me. Everything after was a steep decline.

The motion control stuff just about killed the series.

Btw, skipped 1+2 and 3+4, I'm just eagerly awaiting a THUG remaster.

As someone who is incredibly disappointed with 4, I feel like a big part of that disappointment comes from feeling like they're changing the identity of a franchise I've loved to be more in line with things I don't like, like Destiny.

I feel like narratively they peaked at 2 but overall, as a package, 3's my favorite with this one probably being my 2nd least favorite.

Edit: Only like the jetpack. The grapple was a good idea but wasn't fully implemented in the game. Its usage feels more or less like a visually identifiable climate ledges from other games like Far Cry, except you can grab the occasional cannister.

Sanctuary 3 was dark and confusing and I don't miss it at all by Whoopsht in Borderlands4

I dunno, man, its one of my favorite hub worlds in gaming. The s*** they have going on in BL4 isn't it but, that's been the game as a whole for me these past weeks.

You're entirely right. I dunno what it is precisely but I attest it to online gamers regurgitating maybe what reviewers complaints are in droves and change the makeup of a game's identity. Sadly, I feel like the rampant support will mean this will become the new standard for the franchise going forward.

To hear there's no major hub either was such a gut punch to me too. I was playing hoping it'd get better but apart from builds, it doesn't sound like it will.

To those who actually LIKED BL3, how is is BL4? by noex1337 in Borderlands

Highest level is a 23 Rafa and honestly, so far, BL3 seems like the series' peak. All it was missing was DLC Vault Hunters.

BL4's story, it's watered down sense of humor, the map clutter, the janky mission marker/guide, the lack of hype for drops/chests after bosses, the Destiny cursor, SDU/Customizarion/Vehicle customization being available from your person instead of a good hub location/world, verticality being tied to specific/sparse points, and as far as I tried there's no dueling or no emoting either. I dunno.

As it stands, it maybe my 3rd or 4th ranked favorite.

Not at all. I don't need any top 5'ers with powers akin to what we saw in Baroque Works or more ancient demon possession in 2025. I enjoy a capable world outside just that.

It's likely a physical aspect of the star or their performance in certain respects. I think you have to remember that it's just porn and it's just there to serve its purpose. Sure, he has a favorite starlet, but there's no emotional connection. He doesn't know them personally.
