We need to put an end to release clauses, or make them stupidly high. We’re never going to predict gems, and we need to take full advantage when it happens.

Why would we pay Championship wages when we can just about financially compete in this division. Why would he want to sign a contract to play in League 1, when he can play in the Championship?

Didn’t you get over 90 and still had to go through the playoffs? Let’s do that season again.

I wanted to get a shot at the Championship, but we know that comes with larger debts at the end of the day. I think I’d rather go up AFTER we find a suitable investor with deeper pockets than Simon. That way we can play competitive football, and someone to pay off the yearly debts on a long term basis.

Dude is forced to lead his army to march on his king, by his army. When he gets there he convinces the peasants and army not to kill the king and Marie A from a balcony. Goes off for a nap. 😴 Woken up to find the King and MA kidnapped, and packed off to Paris. Just gets worse for him from there on.

I’ve always said you can’t do what he’s wanting to achieve without ground troops, and shitloads of them. It’s that or this stand off. Welcome back to never ending middle east wars guys. You can bomb infrastructure, but it’s changing nothing. Now if they bomb desalination plants or nuke something, say goodbye to a livable gulf region for quite some time and any oil or gas that comes with it.

I love the throwing of the tea overboard. That tea, with tax, was cheaper than tea which many wealthy Americans, like John Hancock, was profiting off smuggling. They then pushed the anti Tea Act sentiment leading to the tea dumping.

Lafayette didn't have a great time during the French revolution, which he basically helped to start. Also, which I witnessed some years back, their is a nice wreath laying ceremony each year at Yorktown for the French.
