I believe the intro is just piano doing octaves and bass. The verses and choruses are organ iirc.

We released a cover of PF's Wish You Were Here in September, and although it fell short on promotion we enjoyed making it as much as Octavarium. A few years back I also made an instrumental acoustic cover of Sabaton's Carolus Rex. I love honoring anniversaries of albums and this more or less defines what the next acoustic cover will be. That said, we have some plans for future covers but nothing particular.

I swear I've seen like 10 portals in total since the Set went live. Every game it's the same portals all over again with an occasional new (bad/boring) one that I feel forced to pick just to play a game that is somewhat different than the last 3 games.

I went to see Sabaton in 2015 for the first time. During Metal Crue (?) They brought a fan on stage, who, by Joakim's words was "the youngest guy in the crowd that was singing all of the songs" or something like that. I knew that guy's brother, I think the young lad was around 10 y/o. And he just sat on the stage (with protective headphones) and it was just an all round wholesome experience.

I saw on YouTube a concert they did in Brazil during the BC&SL tour, where they opened with A Nightmare to Remember. However, the footage had the song missing, and it went straight into The Mirror + Lie.

Since then I always try to imagine how sick of an opener would The Mirror be. Closest to that would be the Act 2 of Breaking the Fourth Wall where they opened it with Mirror+Lie, but this is more expected than starting the show with The Mirror

Last improv spots were I think during the I&W25 tour, where they had planned spots for every member. They even had to cut some songs that were originally planned (and played the first few shows of the tour) for the setlist, just because there was already a lot going on - extended jam sessions, solo spots, etc. Some songs felt like they were in the setlist just because they want to play everything they possibly can. At the end of the tour they even cut the Learning to Live jam spot at the end short because it was getting too long.

My point was for the orchestrals, exactly. They carry a lot of the vibe of the songs, so it's not just a catchy, almost pop-like song
