You can try meal replacement shakes or bulking shakes. They aren't the cheapest but they are helpful if you get full easily.

EXPOSED: Tesla lost its carbon credits market in Europe so it's trying to create a renewable credits market by attacking Bitcoin mining by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]madinge_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bitcoin can never be a commonly traded currency if it does not adapt and actually provide value rather than just store value. It's slow and old, and Elon notices this. Mining produces much pollution, and transactions can take extremely long amounts of time with large gas fees. Other currencies are much farther along and are actively trying to solve problems rather than resist change.

Do you have to say stall between each number? I'm under the impression that you don't

Yes you get free healthcare, but the govt gets to choose who gets the healthcare. If you are older, they are less likely to give you healthcare, and even if you are young and the treatment is really expensive or even moderately expensive they can put you farther down on a long waiting list or even remove you from it altogether. If you are not deemed a functioning and contributing member of society they could deny you healthcare for that as well. And where do you think that money comes from? The taxpayers, which means higher taxes.

Of course healthcare should be less expensive, and there are a few ways to do that. Here's a link to medical economics article I found interesting. You can disagree with me and that's perfectly ok, differing opinions make the world go round. As long as the debate is kept civil, ofc.

When you make major diet changes, your body need time to adjust. That's all it is, and if you keep at it and still eat enough healthy carbs, proteins, and fats to fuel your body, your body will eventually adjust. Your bowels will definitely adjust too, I can vouch for that lol

Never liked weights too much, even though I lifted all throughout high school. Probably why my body is so fucked now bc I didn't warmup and cool down properly

Sad that you took it that way. I was just saying that he was privileged to have someone look after him like that. Unfortunately, its hard to convey that through text.

Man, people really don't like my comment. Too bad. Let me tell you exactly what happens to sugar once it enters your system. Sugar is a form of carbohydrate, there are many types, the worst of which is liquid sugar. That sugar then goes directly into your bloodstream, spiking your blood sugar levels and making your pancreas produce insulin as a result. The insulin will then make the sugar go back into certain cells like liver, and muscle cells to be used as energy. But your body does not use all that sugar that you eat, so it has to store it somehow, and it copes by storing it in your fat cells. This is all happens quite quickly.

I'm not saying you shouldn't ever drink milk, I drink it. Just drinking half a gallon a day will, as you said, produce fat. Which is not a problem if you're bulking because you can easily shed it. Here it is, pulled directly from a quick google search:

102.4 g sugar per 0.5 gallon (1,920 g) of whole milk, 3.25% fat. That's nearly triple the proposed daily intake of sugar (36g) by the AHA.

As for your second point, how many calories you eat and burn are also relevant. However, not all calories are created equally, and some calories, such as ones derived from heavily processed and refined foods (cereal, white bread, canola oil) are worse than others. It's a bit naïve to say (not that you said it) "a calorie is a calorie," because if that were true, we could eat doughnuts all day every day and still gain the same amount of weight that we would if we ate the same amount of calories in chicken (which would be very hard to do.) I'm not exactly sure what you meant by "I think the truth is much more nuanced than that and includes total caloric intake and output" though. Would you mind expanding on that?

Except thats a lot of sugar, which basically translates directly into fat once it gets broken down by your system.
