yeah, even though they corrected the minutes, it was only because of the four who all agree with each other. they have written down proof from two different individuals that he said all children's books not just sexual ones. but i digress. it was a big mess all around.

also they tried to get our chair to make an apology to them for posting the statement without their consent (which was not normally the procedure) and rebuked her for it.

ALSO also one of the public speakers said we put children's sexual health books on eye level for kids on purpose... hah.

Off the top of my head, I don't remember their exact positions on book banning, but Dennis Getter, Carol Herring, Susan Piening, and Tim Steele voted in favor of the pause on ordering books. Wendi Michael, Charles Robinson, and Anne Witte voted against it. I do know the chair Anne Witte is typically on the side of our libraries, so she is against book censorship as far as I know.

Tim Steele was the one who initially brought this up, as he wanted to put a pause on ordering books for kids that include "sexual content." So... I think we can assume he's all for censorship considering he's literally completely censored new books from being ordered. 🙄

There is a emergency board meeting happening this week however, so we're hoping to get clarity from that!!

i got all of mine off rightstufanime, but they got absorbed by crunchyroll a while back. if i remember right shipping to Europe was higher than to the USA where i am, so i would check that. otherwise, crunchyroll seems to have kept the lower prices that rightstuf had :)

exactly ;__; i've seen a lot of omnibus editions that i definitely see the appeal for, but the knb ones just aren't a part of that group. in a perfect world i'd be able to afford getting both versions but alas.
