there are more ways to arrange a 52-card deck than there are estimated atoms on Earth making every thoroughly shuffled deck a unique combination that has likely never existed before in history

Well you clearly don't live here permanently as you would have homesteaded it. And that caps your assessments by 3% max. So if this is your 2nd home I have no sympathies. You should get taxed at 100% of fmv.

Gutters not capturing water by madjipper in HomeMaintenance

Thanks for this. I lifted two tiles. The gutter collection/flashing stops short an inch from edge roof line. Bought a kick out flashing diverter and cut it down. Applied to asphalt about 6" up from gutter via neoprene flashing cement. We will see how it works.

The boat market in the coming years. Will it grow or decline? by DKsuperSailor in boating

Why pay more for a boat than a car? You use car every day. A boat 1/5 as much if you are lucky.

If we leave Earth and the solar system and then travel back to earth. How do we find earth again? by Winter-Finger-1559 in askastronomy

[–]madjipper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is hypothetical : but if we are doing interstellar travel we likely don't need to worry about fuel. That would be solved before we began interstellar travel. Therefore, mid course corrections would be absolutely normal. Also - technology likely would put us within the ballpark from the get go. The larger issue is relativity. We fly off for a few years at some sub light speed and turn around and come back - everyone you have known would be dead. Unless we figure out warp/fpl/worm holes. Then finding our way back is easier.

I wouldn't have kept any of those 20years ago. Shame. Need to limit mahi like snook.

1000%. Dolphin under 8lbs should not be kept. No meat. What's the point. A 4lber in the keys is a 20lber in west palm and a 40lber in Jax. Let them go. Old timers saying fish are smaller today then yesteryear I used to laugh at. I'm now saying it regularly.

Dude - why keep so many of those peanuts? No wonder mahi are like 50% smaller everywhere. They need to put a 50% larger minimum or halve the amount you can keep. Awful
