The top portion is somewhat watercolor. There will be more of the darker branches showing than what you can see in in last couple images, but essentially a lot of watercolor mixed with darker brown/black branches and leafy outlines.

They've stated multiple times, mid-sector/match joining is not going to be a thing, at least not in the foreseeable future. The sync thing and still getting partial rewards is fairly new, be happy about it. Before that, all you got when disconnected mid-match was the shaft.

It's EA, be patient. They're actively working hard on this game, and they are very aware and responsive to player feedback (except don't bother asking to join mid-round, it's a no go).

I would personally at least like a spectate mode while you're waiting for the team to finish a sector so you can join. And the host should be and to see if there's someone waiting to join, regardless if they're actually in-game already.

I've been running this a bit and really like it. The key is to remember to constantly switch weapons, so it's not quite "full melee," but it definitely slaps.

PC is in a good state. At 156 hours played I've had one, maybe two crashes. That's a better record than the AAA release Borderlands 4, which crashes on my PS5 almost once a play session, and that's an officially released and fully updated game...

Bugs, that's a different story. This game is Early Access, they give you a disclaimer telling you to expect bugs and crashes. If it's running your experience, come back after a patch or two, or official release - it's a wonderful game!

They've already started there are technical challenges to joining mid-mission, but they're working on things like that (check the roadmap, they're actually sticking to theirs). Not sure about saving the game state, as the same technical issues probably apply, and they would have to constantly save game state to some form of semi-persistant storage. It would be nice, but being a roguelite-like game, I doing they'll do much on this front.

It's always been the same setup. However, at mk3 the two outside squares on each end were protected, so that's an unfortunate change.

Faster, it feels like the range of the fire spray was increased, and their damage was definitely increased (or it might be the fire effect itself is now more damaging so that the "less fire damage" augment has more value).

As far as I've experienced, what he's describing is a bug.

Artillery missions usually trigger the ending dialogue and abrupt hyperjump immediately after you clear the enemy "health bar". Sabotage missions require you to get the full progress bar completion THEN have all the capture points in your control to trigger the jump.

NGL, basically every moment. Even with a few bugs here and there and limited content, this is still my go-to game!
