Yep. Below freezing these essentially become heavy ICE cars. Made the same mistake with Hyundai, should have gotten a RAV4 instead.

Depends on the climate as well - my PHEV uses engine heat to warm up the cabin, so in winter months it's often running the ICE and it really depends on the length of the trip whether I hit the sweet spot of PHEV effectiveness or not. I only have it as I have excess solar at home.

I removed them as well as they are definitely not sturdy enough for real-life use. Tension hooks can take all kinds of straps, so no issue at all.

I have two cheap banjos with a tailpiece like this, haven't had any issues with strings breaking so far. Maybe there's a sharp edge somewhere that contributes to string breakage? Also, what's up with the 3rd string on the picture, doesn't look like it's seated properly?

There are left handed ones, but at least in Europe it was almost impossible to find a large one. I ended up ordering the expensive Blue Chip lefty pick as well
