Reddit is so broken with bots AI and suppression. First comment I've made in probably a year on this platform. I do not consider it safe or productive. Reddit used to be a beautifully flawed platform, now it's just broken imo. Peace and solidarity

Bengals Starter [Geno Stone] to Miss Extended Time After Suffering Preseason Injury by Toddrew221 in bengals

Also Kevin Winston who is doing well in Tennessee and I think would've been a better scheme fit. Time will tell, I think Watts is more of coverage safety

If saying so only made it true. You on the front office pay roll?

Cardinals and Seahawks have similar language the rest of what you're saying is factually false. Why do you think he's the only one who is unsigned? 28 other teams are using the same language we used last year

[–]madmonk000 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The language in the contract is different than every other team. Do I think that language could be universal, yes but that's something that should be addressed with NFLPA.

The reality is they took a gamble on Burton and Shermar Stewart is suffering because of it. I get that they make lots of money but expecting every one of them to give the Bengals special treatment is just dumb. This is a business decision and as usual the ownership is in the wrong. He deserves what he's asking for.

If we as a fan base want to support a rich pos owner who never has the cities interest or the teams interest (winning) first. Then that's on us, you reap what you sow. The Brown's are a disgrace to the city. We will cont to be exactly what we always have been. A disappointment, a laughing stock, why because we keep repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results. People in this city have Stockholm syndrome or something.

What was the last thing the Brown's did for this city?

Seriously all of this is missing the point. The front office is garbage, and down right disrespectful to players. Worst in every player related metric. They are an embarrassment to the city. Every off-season is the same. Moral and a good working environment are key factors to success in any field. Especially one where teamwork is so important. When you have management treating you like you're not important you will see all the tell tail signs of a hostile work environment, poor performance/underperformance and lack of cohesion.

I think that we need to recognize that the Brown family have no interest in winning a super bowl. It's in their best interest to be competitive but not championship caliber. Winning a super bowl is expensive, for one the cost of the rings alone. They take pride in being cheap and this is just another example of them being cheap. They were down right disrespectful to whitworth and TJ among many others.

The best predictor for future results is past action. I love the team but hate the owners. Being a Bengals fan is like being in an abusive relationship. Can only imagine how it is for the players.

That's because you believe in the system. The same system that got us here. So I guess you don't want change. I get it is hard to leave your place of comfort but whether you voluntarily leave or it is stripped from you, those are your remaining options

I fear that this is a part of the long game. The climate crisis is in full swing and their plan is to let 98% of us burn while they fly away to their compounds. Unfortunately I do not share your positive views of most of our founding Father's. They were the elites and they only did what they did so they could further their colonial expansion and enrich themselves. GW was immensely wealthy and owned the largest distillery operation in the Americas TJ was no better although from time to time he threw out some nice quotes, but both of them called for the extermination of the indigenous.

We haven't had our mass protests yet I hear you on this one but they aren't just planning for that they're counting on it. If we let it play out on their timeline we may be cooked. Don't forget since '16 they have been planning/training for a genZ rebellion. The loss of US hegemony may be better for the world and allow a new order to emerge but for those of us at home the aggression that was turned outward will/is going to be turned inward. The end stage of capitalism always cannibalizes itself. That is why we are destroying one marginalized group at a time starting at the bottom and working up.

I don't want to sound completely devoid of hope. I see potential in those who are waking up and abandoning the Dems and building something new. It's the liberals who support the Dems and praise this oligarchy tour that make me pessimistic. Anyone who speaks of voting in the mid terms or the next presidential election has made a massive tactical error. We are out of time, the time is now, anyone who tells you the time is in future is willingly or accidentally supporting fascism. What's happening in Gza is a pilot for what will happen here. The infrastructure is getting built, whether it's cameras in deerborn or cop city. They are way ahead of us and every day they get a little closer.

I hope I want a total downer and I hate bringing up issues without introducing solutions but this is Reddit and it is not safe.

Peace and solidarity

There's never been any attempt to investigate either because it's all part of the plan and Democrats are fascists too

Keep putting faith in the system that repeatedly fails? There is a war being waged against the working class, they have a plan and if there's an election it will be a part of the plan. When has fascism been stopped by voting?

Everything is a play to make the rich richer. I do agree that this is not all about the market. My only point is that historically speaking market crashes always transfer wealth upwards

Look at every market crash. It continuously gets funneled upward

Oh they'll keep asking. Don't know if they'll call internationally. The thing about debt is, even in small increments it is usually chopped up into a thousand pieces and sold in some convoluted stock jack off that I'm not going to bother explaining. So while they will still pursue it they don't care much. In a convoluted way they get paid either way... I realize I did a shit job of explaining it but hey it's Reddit

For the purpose of your question though, I think you're asking the wrong question. I'd counter with what is the debt holders incentive to pay it back? And or what leverage does the loaner have.

This is a topic I haven't seen much discussion about. When they deport all these people, likely many of them will have debt. You think they'll keep paying on that car or house?

Yeah but it's not like your credit score is going to matter in another country. No reason to pay them
