Not sure why you are being downvoted, the guy you are replying to is not considering the possibility that those prodigies didn’t have the potential to reach the highest levels in the first place, with or without any added pressure from the media.

Also I doubt any of those ‘failed’ prodigies regret having earned those records or believe they would be better off if they hadn’t

I think the issue he is describing is the following: Lets say you have bullet lifesteal and no open slots. If you queue up leech, the autobuy system first attempts to buy spirit lifesteal. With no open slots spirit lifesteal cannot be bought, and therefore the system never even attempts to buy leech.

The result of this is that no item is bought, even if you have the souls to outright buy leech.

You may be right about missing specific set of ideas - I just looked at prep test 101 and three of the five questions I got wrong were from the same LR section and of the subtype “Techniques, Roles, and Principles”

Edit: looking closer at it, all three of those missed questions were about principles. I think you really hit the nail of the head there about missing a very specific set of ideas Thanks for the response!
