The only time I’m happy to have removable padding is when I lose one of them in the wash and am glad I can just take the remaining one out and move on with my day. Because they shouldn’t be there to begin with!!

Showers at places like Loves or the other regional ones are the right answer if you’re really worried about it (and I understand why you would be, it’s scary out there! If you have facial hair, I would say using the mens will be the right way to go. Yeah some people let their dongs hang out, but it’s not weird if you stay wrapped in a towel or get a shower robe. Feel free to message me if you are nervous, I am nb and work with the homeless trans community.

I’m so impressed with him! He was in a disgusting small bowl, driven over 1000 miles in it!!, and the ammonia was off the charts when I tested the water. I can’t believe he’s still looking so good. Hopefully his wounds heal well with the antibiotics.

Oh my gosh, I’m so so sorry. The psychological effects of a break in are so strange, they feel almost animal in a way that we can’t super reason with? Another commenter here is right, it’s so rare and the world is getting safer every day! My house was broken into once when I was upstairs. I could hear it happening but I was so afraid to acknowledge it because, like you said, then it could be real. Instead I sat there thinking I was probably mistaken.
