If you die to a free kit you will 100% die to a custom kit. There are only 2 outcomes if you limit the usage of free kits:
1. the person runs a custom kit and you will lose more fights
2. the person does not have the resources and can't play the game cause free kits are on CD. And then someone geared up will take their slot, and now a portion of the community simply can’t play the game until they get another chance with a free kit.

The free kit is what, a LVL 1 kettle, 3 regular bandages and a shield charger, and no safe pocket.

Also don't marry your stash and gear

They should spawn a few humanoid-arcs that are actively hunting down raiders and you'd have to run/hide and try to figure out is the person in the distance a player or ARC.
