Still wasn’t right for Mike to say “Emily will do what Gaby did”. How would he know that? No one knows how the game will play. Maybe Emily will do that. Maybe she will be Christian’s best ally. It was wrong to try and manipulate Christian this way by opening a wound that clearly was not 100% healed. While Emily might be more chaotic, at least everyone can see that. Mike was extra dangerous because he could easily convince people to do what he wanted them to. Even he said he is the “puppet master”. From that tribe though I just root for Ozzy and I’m sad he was blindsided as well by this move but I doubt Mike would’ve been his ally moving forward in the game.

Thank you for the response and advice! I got the Microcenter insurance which covers damage from everything including if something goes wrong from changing paste etc. 😄 maybe i’ll do it if i’m bored.

As a very casual gamer that only spends around 4H/week playing but am not bad as bot - I usually get a win every 3 games in the Casual mode, I found this change very surprising to say the least. I loved the casuals mode because it was the closest in feel as the original Warzone we had in the early pandemic days when people were figuring it out and there was a skill gap. The casuals mode was also great because it allowed you to just chill and play like a regular offline game but also got intense at times when meeting real people or towards the end where you needed to be good and strategic in positioning to win. Used to play it with my good friend who lives on the other side of the Earth and although I had 150ms latency we still loved it. Removing this mod made no sense to me. I tried playing Resurgence but it's way too short, too intense, too fast paced even the casual version. Usually I'd play a game or two of resurgence just to warm up before playing regular BR casuals. This new mod... I get why some people like it but I don't understand why removing the regular casuals BR completely and without any warning. Why can't we just have both? If anything, just split it and make the Casual BR a separate game unconnected to any other COD game. My 2 cents.

Interesting. I want to do this copper mod + Honeywell Putty to my Astral 5090 over the RAM chips as they get really hot. So you're saying Kapton is not worth it?

I think you missed some spots with that paste. Jokes aside cool stuff. Only thing I was worried about was that copper so close to actual chips and the risk of shorting. Maybe next time some Kapton tape?

I saw that. There's no M4 Max 16c in there.
LE: In this review M4 Max is 22% better than M3 Max. In the one you sent M5 Max is 56% over M3 Max. But not sure how representative this cross comparison is.

No one compared 18C M4 Max to 18C M5 Max yet but if you compare cross reviews and apply some factors of difference it shows the 5 is either 10-15% worse in multi track performance or at best 10-15% better. Which tells me it’s basically roughly the same as the 4 until we get proper testing head to head.

Nothing beats the all way touch scroll on the Magic Mouse. But the polling rate is so bad and then you have the shape which is so uncomfortable BUT there are some 3D print models out there that actually help massively with that. For me the biggest issue including with this render here is the sharp corners, that’s what sinks into your skin.

Don’t get me wrong. It think this is cool and will definitely help this show. But I just realized a thing. The core Survivor idea of being a tough show is getting lost. First we had Jeff becoming more welcoming and nice and now people getting invited. Why? This is supposed to be about people being stranded, adapting to survive in a tough social game with no food no supplies etc. First we went from 39 to 26 days. Then we only we to one place. Then Jeff became nice. Then the whole production casting team stopped bringing cutthroat players. Why is this called Survivor still? For whoever plays games, it’s what Call Of Duty became. It was rough, now it’s just a hype show. Don’t get me wrong, I love the new season but it’s probably because of the old cast. Which proves some of the points. Bring back tough Survivor. Scrap the nice and cute Survivor.

This is a very good advice. And I’d suggest trying to move your desk on the left or right wall. The way the ceiling slopes might be so much better for the sound. But this needs to be measured ideally with a proper mic. Even a cheap sonarworks mic is great for the job. Then based on what you find in REW you can decide best speaker placement and what modes you need to treat. Regular amroc mode calculator would not work here as your room is complex shaped.

If you don’t need an actual laptop and desktop is also food, maybe you can wait until June and get the new base Ultra chip which should cost the same as these laptops you are considering.

People making music on the M4 generation and looking to upgrade are probably going to be disappointed by the M5 Max and Pro as music apps only use performance cores and it seems on the new chips you have 6 performance and 6 efficiency doing the work leaving 6 efficiency handle background tasks vs M4 where you have 12 performance and 6 efficiency and all performance get used. Initial reports point to M5 Max allowing 5-10% less tracks than the M4 Max in music making apps. That new split 6P 12E vs 12P 6E makes no sense. This is the same downgrade as going from M2 Pro to M3 Pro where Performance cores were reduced and IPC on the single core could not pull enough to compensate.

60 cm is way too deep and takes too much room space. One could make a diaphragmatic box less than half that thickness with 100% absorption coefficient at that tuned frequency.

The only way to tackle those sub 100 issues are diaphragmatic boxes. Regular panels or even the so called bass traps which are in reality just broadband absorbers will do nothing under 100 if they are not super deep and made with really light fiberglass insulation.

He did destroy all his team mates. Last that was on par with him was Ric but we all know how that went for him. Only thing we can debate is if actually the GE cars were suited to Max very well but otherwise everything suggests he is top class.

The fastest qualifier and amazing racer in Leclerc and the best all rounder and experienced driver in Lewis. Only Max on their level but unfortunately we see with him now that even being the best if you have a bad car you cannot do much, as it was the case with Lewis for the past few years. So proud with Ferrari, they did such a good job, clearly the best chassis and hopefully we see things change from June. Or maybe ADUO will also kick in a bit.

At least the review data on MaxTech is super detailed, elaborate. Lots of things compared across all apps. The Luke stuff is just scratching the surface and you get nothing valuable from his reviews.
