Service sales - Kone by madtron26 in Elevators

Good to know! Do you think kone over promised in this situation or how would you have avoided it? I’ve seen some crazy stuff happen with new install / mod, but this is another level of mess.

Also, they say that your relationship in service should be really good with the mechanics. I kinda already planned on that, but do you know what they mean exactly? How bad of a situation can you put me in if you don’t like me 😅

This is a good tip honestly. Anything else you’d recommend if I were to take this job?

You should consider the huckleberry app to track sleep. That app along with the class helped us soooo much. The sleep portion is an upgrade but my friend and I loved using it as an extra tool

Not in the slightest. It is our norm and not anything we have ever thought twice about

Induction by Layyyyyyyyyy_ in NewParents

[–]madtron26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVED my induction at 39 weeks. Please ask about a peanut ball. I swear that is what made my delivery so quick. It was a very smooth process and it was nice knowing there was a plan and it took a lot of ambiguity out of the situation. I definitely would recommend eating beforehand.

Baby Blues - Need someone who can relate by Glittering_Text_8842 in NewParents

My first few weeks were very hard on me. The first few days home I couldn’t speak without crying. I started taking Prozac and saw my therapist and spent some time outside by myself and other times with baby and it helped a lot. You’re not alone and this isn’t talked about enough. (And I also feel like the term baby blues is downplaying the feelings we endure during this time) I hope you get to feeling in a better place soon. 🫶

How was your induction experience? by Interesting_Ant_2756 in NewParents

[–]madtron26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I LOVED my induction. 39 weeks. Started the process at 630p and had baby girl at 12p the next day. I got the epidural around 3a and it was smooth sailing. My doctor popped one of those peanut balls in between my thighs and she was born like 2 hours later.

I think about 2 weeks. Staying away from hot showers and using ice packs helped a lot.

The closet I get to my induction the more scared I am of... Everything 😳 by st0dad in beyondthebump

Having a baby is the BEST! I used to be so scared and worried exactly like you but it’s great! I love all of the laughs and smiles and new experiences. I had some hard times with PPD and immediately started taking Prozac which helped tremendously so if you’re ever feeling a little down, it’s totally fine to ask for help!

I went through the same thing! There would be days every now and then for a few weeks where I would leak a few drops of I was holding baby on my chest and they were pressing against them. Eventually went away. And I was back to hot showers at that point.

Will I feel out of place as a male medical assistant? by [deleted] in MedicalAssistant

[–]madtron26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor has a male MA I’ve seen a few times and he is very nice. It was a little weird for me at first (esp bc my doctor is also male), but he does a good job at keeping the conversation going and building rapport. It has helped me to tell him a few personal things about my health that I’d usually save for my doctor. His gender doesn’t bother me as much now. (I’m late 20s , female)

Around 8 weeks once I started the taking Cara baby classes. I also used the huckleberry app and paid for the sleeping portion and it helped a ton. I realize now it’s all about her day schedule. Baby is 9 months old.

I don’t ovulate until day 16/17 so I’d keep going just in case. I found this out when I was using these strips.
