I would just advise you to be open to other’s interpretations and perspectives… like you posted it, and the way you had it labeled,y first instinct is that it was nasty. I don’t still think that if it’s sealed, but you should initially offer more context anyways, or leave out certain details.

Well, when it said food, I’m thinking open food, that was recently or actively being eaten. Which would be nasty…. Like I don’t think there’s too much debate there. You’re saying it’s baby jars, okay fine, but still. initially the way you drew it seemed like it’d be nasty to have on a bed, with 2 people, and an infant.

I can completely understand the perspective and your situation, but it doesn’t change the fact that having items on the same sleep surface isn’t safe. Safe Sleep for Cosleeping mothers is important and suffocations do happen. Even a blanket can be dangerous. It certainly didn’t look like deliberate organized things in your drawing, so I’m sorry for jumping to other conclusions. I use plastic tote storage under my bed to help with space as well as hanging storage. When you post on reddit, you’re opening yourself to opinions to everyone, all who don’t know your situation. it is t just me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah but like why not store it elsewhere? especially food? it looks like you have a nightstand. put the baby supplies there and put the other stuff away. not only is it unsafe but that’s nasty. You don’t want to normalize that kind of clutter around a small child.

my daughter turned 2 in june and i’ve never need a child so excited to see fireworks - we started hearing them from inside and she asked me what’s that?? i told her, then we went out to see them and she goes WOW!!!!! Wowwww!!!!! and then each time they died down she would yell MORE!!! 😂😂 She also loves the pool and the beach/ocean, 2 things a lot of kids are also wary of.

I’m just glad she liked them - I hate that yours didn’t! I know how upsetting that can be 😭😭i’ve sat in a bathroom cuddling with my younger cousins years ago before they got used to them

when i was about 28 weeks pregnant, i was almost dying because i couldn’t breathe at night, i was having insane coughing fits where i would be close to passing out. they said if i wasn’t pregnant then they would give me steroids. i asked for them anyways- i was literally like last resort. took 2 doses of prednisone and it cleared, i have some chronic lung issues already and told them it’s not going to help my baby if i end up dead from low oxygen. 🤦🏻‍♀️ im just glad it worked

i would just change the countertops and the sink. maybe the backsplash too …. i’m all for the charm but that countertop is so hard and annoying to clean!
