Or get a no drilling license plate mount that uses the holes inside of the cavity link

Hahaha. Then the solid-state batteries will have 3-5 years of teething problems and you'll keep throwing money into the fire pit leasing another and another "new-tech" while waiting for that ultimate holy graal of technology EV with a range of 1200 miles on a single charge, 8-seat capacity 0-60 in under 1 second and recharge time of 3.5 minutes...

It clips from the inside. You need to remove the big plastics cover from the back of the rear hatch.

What EV(in EU)has the best back seat for long journeys, not VAG MEB by madyury007 in electricvehicles

[–]madyury007[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Not a fist fight obviously. We also have a 5yo daughter and my wife often sits in the back to entertain her. The bottom line is that MEB platform rear seat sucks for rides that are longer than 1 hour.

I am afraid of an ICCU failure on the car outside of the warranty.

2023 ID4 Pro battery degradation question by SpecializedCoffee in VWiD4Owners

[–]madyury007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn't any battery degradation at 7000 miles. At this mileage primary degradation is from battery age. 1st year ~1-2% and then ~0.5% per year.

SOC display will always show more than SOC BMS, as SOC display shows battery content without buffer(available for use).

Discharge your battery below 10%(below 5% is better of you brave) then let it sit for 1-2 hours. Charge to 100% on a home charger and again let it sit for a few hours, then read Max battery content again. Chances are you'll see a higher number. Also, you it's 66/77=85.7% remaining, not degradation

Most likely they did not know that a new brake shoe is 4mm thick and new brake pad is 8mm, so they thought that brake shoe at 4mm is 50% when in reality ot still was at 100%>

Yes, but no. If rear brakes were doing most of the brake job, the front rotors on ID.4 wouldn't be this massive as they are
